CITCO Water’s ThornSorb is a medium activity powdered activated carbon slurry, specifically manufactured for the treatment of water for human consumption, in both municipal and industrial applications. This grade of activated carbon provides a high removal efficiency against a variety of aqueous pollutants, especially organic matter and taste and odor compounds. CITCO Water’s ThornSorb is available in a closely controlled particle size distribution to suit all downstream separation techniques. The material is compliant with international standards for activated carbon slurry products used in this application.
