On Saturday April 16th, the 10th annual Drew’s Day 5K Race/Walk was completed in St. Albans. This race was named for Randy Clark’s nephew, Drew Humphries, who passed away 12 years ago from complications with being born with spina bifida. The race is a fund raiser for the Mountaineer Spina Bifida Camp that Drew loved to attend during the summer. C.I. Thornburg has been a major sponsor for the race. The picture of the elderly gentlemen below receiving a trophy is Randy’s father, (Drew’s grandfather) who, at 91 years of age, won the 70 and over race category.
